Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Summit Ashton Foods is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to allergen controls at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
