Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Cedar Sparrow Farms is an agricultural business based around New Orleans. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to seasonal crews at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
