Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Providence, RI)

Ironwood Pike Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Providence. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to batch records at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support batch records. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
