Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Providence, RI)

Clearpath Linden Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Providence. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
