Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Portland, OR)

Harborlight Meadow Manufacturing Partners is a Portland manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Portland. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
