Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Portland, OR)

Stonegate Maple Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Portland plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
