Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Portland, OR)

Bluepeak River Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Portland. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to maintenance stores at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support maintenance stores. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
