Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Meridian Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Oakland. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 798 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer specifications at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
