Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (New Orleans, LA)

Harborlight Rook Housing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to waiting lists at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support waiting lists. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
