Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Timber Auto Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Keep stock linked to warranty claims at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support warranty claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
