Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Minneapolis, MN)

Westbrook Amber Manufacturing is a Minneapolis manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to production lines at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production lines. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
