Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Umber Civic Services supports public agencies in Milwaukee with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to constituent requests at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support constituent requests. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
