Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Madison, WI)

Fernwood Rook Construction is a Madison contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to change orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
