Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Lakeside Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
