Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Jackson, MS)

Silverline Lantern Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Jackson, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
