Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Glen Civic Services and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Keep stock linked to budget submissions at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
