Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Indianapolis, IN)

Summit Fern Freight is a Indianapolis logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. We reward reliability. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
