Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Indianapolis, IN)

Northwind Lantern Construction is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to permits at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
