Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Houston, TX)

Bluepeak Lantern Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Houston. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to online orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support online orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
