Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Houston, TX)

Cedar Beacon Housing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for maintenance stores, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to maintenance stores at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
