Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Forge Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 851 people based in Houston. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
