Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Ridge Construction Group is a Houston contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people based in Houston. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to materials orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support materials orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
