Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Pike Auto Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 454 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to service appointments at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support service appointments. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
