Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Vale Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Hartford. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to pricing at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support pricing. • Experience with an ERP system.
