Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Meridian Hospitality and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to group events at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support group events. • Experience with an ERP system.
