Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Maple Press Associates produces print and digital publications in Detroit. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to bindery work at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
