Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Yarrow Foods is a Detroit food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders.
