Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Ivory Hospitality and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 125 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to housekeeping schedules at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support housekeeping schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
