Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Des Moines, IA)

Summit Cobalt Auto Group is a Des Moines company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to customer estimates at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer estimates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
