Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Bright Mill Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. We reward reliability. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
