Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Lantern Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Des Moines. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 352 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to family communication at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support family communication.
