Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Cedar Fern Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 624 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
