Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Iron Pharma and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to batch records at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support batch records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
