Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Bright Corner Early Learning and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 504 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep stock linked to classroom supplies at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support classroom supplies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
