Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook Amber Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Chicago, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to waiting lists at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support waiting lists. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
