Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Chicago, IL)

Clearpath Lantern Construction Group is a Chicago contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to subcontractor invoices at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
