Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook Vale Press Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 574 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. • Experience with an ERP system.
