Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Granite Manufacturing is a Charleston manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to tooling at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support tooling. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
