Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Rook Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Charleston plant. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
