Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Charleston, SC)

Cedar North Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Charleston. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to meal programmes at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
