Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Buffalo, NY)

Bright Meridian Farms is an agricultural business based around Buffalo, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
