Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Iron Construction is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to project schedules at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
