Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Boston, MA)

Fernwood Rowan Freight is a Boston logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
