Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Orchard Facilities and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer sites at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer sites. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
