Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Cobalt Manufacturing is a Birmingham manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
