Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Clear Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Birmingham. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 589 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
