Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Baltimore, MD)

Silverline Juniper Foods is a Baltimore food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
