Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Baltimore, MD)

Westbrook Vale Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Baltimore. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. • Experience with an ERP system.
