Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Austin, TX)

Harborlight Stone Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
