Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Anchorage, AK)

Bluepeak Maple Housing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to repair requests at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support repair requests. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
